"AMA " The Academy of Model Aeronautics is the organization in which membership is required at most flying sites including our NMRCC field. The AMA provides liability coverage to the club and to the individual members plus the AMA offers many member services. Check out all of their website specific areas, especially the "About the AMA" link. "Model Aviation's Sport Aviator". Another site that is sponsored by the AMA and is a great source of information. In this site you will many articles and a special area for the new pilot. Pri-Fli or -- Primary Flight Information Center is where you will find a link on How To Get Started. "EASY RC" is a site provided by Tower Hobbies that covers many things like the Acronyms, Types of Airplanes, what equipment you may need and so on to get started.
