North Mississippi Radio Control Club - NMRCC 

NMRCC was formerly know as WRCC (Whitehaven Radio Control Club) and like so many RC Flying Clubs, has experienced several moves over the years.  A couple of years ago, growth in Desoto County caught up with us at our previous site. The Club had operated on Craft Road for around 16 years but a housing development and I-69 plans indicated it was time to move again.

After months of searching for a new field, a lease was obtained that should serve us well for years to come. Last year around March we got started with building a new grass runway and safety barriers in what was once a field for growing various crops. Now a year later we have a nice field to enjoy the sport of RC Flying. Our members fly anything from Electric Foamies to Giant Scale 40%, Gliders, Electric Ducted Fan Jets, Trainers, Aerobatics, & 3D are all flown here

Along with the move, it was time to change the club name. Since it had been over 20 years since the club started in the Memphis Whitehaven area and now being located so far away from the Memphis area, we decided to chang the name to North MS RC Club.
